Center for Ultrafast Matter Science
The Center for Ultrafast Matter Science of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is oriented to the frontiers of ultrafast science, targeting major scientific issues in the intersection of ultrafast optics, condensed matter physics and materials science, and conducting innovative research that is fundamental, forward-looking and multidisciplinary. The center will gather top talents in related disciplines at home and abroad, build a high-level, international, cross-disciplinary research platform for ultrafast material science, become the birthplace of major achievements in ultrafast scientific research, lead the development of the ultrafast science field, promote the progress and development of related disciplines such as condensed matter, materials, atomic and molecular physics, chemistry, biology, energy, and information, strongly support the country's sustainable development and major strategic needs, and build a distinctive and internationally leading ultrafast science research center.
