The construction of the advanced attosecond laser facility, a major national science and technology infrastructure, officially started
On January 10, 2025, the "Advanced Attosecond Laser Facility", a major national scientific and technological infrastructure, officially started construction in Dongguan, Guangdong. The facility has a total of 10 beam lines and 22 research terminals. The six beamlines under construction this time are in charge of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the other four beamlines will be constructed in Xi'an, Shaanxi, and are in charge of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
