The Center for Attosecond Science holds the 18th lecture of the "Ultrafast Material Science" forum
On November 30, 2023, the 18th lecture of the "Ultrafast Material Science" Forum of the Attosecond Science Center was held in the M253 conference room of the Institute of Physics. The forum invited Professor Qi Jingbo from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China to give a lecture titled "Ultrafast manipulation. of collective modes via chiral fermions in a charge density wave Weyl semimetal".
This forum was invited and hosted by Wan Yuan, a researcher at the Institute of Physics. More than 80 teachers and students from the Institute of Physics participated in the forum through a combination of offline and online methods. Professor Qi Jingbo introduced charge density wave materials and terahertz spectroscopy technology, and shared the new achievements he and his collaborators have made in the ultrafast regulation of charge density wave collective excitation. In the report, the teachers and students present and Professor Qi Jingbo had a lively discussion around the theme of the lecture.
The "Ultrafast Material Science" Forum is a series of academic seminars organized by the Attosecond Science Center. The forum mainly focuses on cutting-edge and hot issues in the field of ultrafast material science, and invites well-known experts from home and abroad to share their latest research. It aims to build an important platform for academic exchanges in ultrafast material science, promote in-depth exchanges of ideas among physicists at home and abroad, and promote research and development in the field of ultrafast material science.
The speaker of this forum is Professor Qi Jingbo
